Hi!
You can call me Cassie.
I'm a UX Designer and Researcher with over 10+ years of experience in user experience and graphic design. I am skilled at planning, conducting, and synthesizing qualitative research and translating those into design recommendations and solutions through in-depth user-flows and wireframes.
I love discovering behavior patterns and developing design solutions that impact user goals and pain points. I get excited about how user research can help to create more sustainable and inclusive design systems.
I'd like to contribute to a design-focused team, helping to steer a project from start to finish.
How I got started in UX design and research
I received a BFA in Graphic Design from the University of Florida, and worked as a graphic designer for startups and agencies in New York City for the last 10+ years. I'm currently based in Florida, working remotely on freelance UX projects.
What I've been working on
I just completed an independent qualitative research study with the Collier Area Transportation Department in Naples, Florida to test their new mobile fare payment app. You can find out more about it here.
What I'm curious about
I'm interested in human behavior and the intersection of diverse populations with products and spaces. How do different populations interact and react to the same interfaces?

As more functions of daily life move online, I wonder how that will affect populations that have low digital literacy or who don't engage with new technology regularly?
